COLLECTIVE SYNCH LICENSING MODEL

This section of NCB's website is directed only at NCB's owner societies, Nordic authors' associations and Nordic music publishers' associations.

The new Nordic synchronization model has been developed in direct dialogue with all the Nordic rights holder associations and is in fact an agreement on who can license what.

In short: The rights holders themselves can license music for advertising and feature films and other productions intended for commercial distribution. NCB will license television productions and productions that are not intended for commercial distribution.
